About me

My Name is Andreas Lorenz from Cologne, Germany and I am a business IT-Student at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA in Gütersloh, Germany. I finished high school with a grade of 1.4 in June 2017. In the time span of August 2017 till 2021 I am working for Bertelsmann as a dual student. During the same time I visit the FHDW-Paderborn to finish my Bachelor of Science in Business IT – Business Process Management. From 2017 till 2019 I finished my trainee programm at Bertelsmann as the class best with 94%. I am the Developer of the start-up HEROvet. We are creating an app to connect pet parents and veterinarians via Video Chat on demand in just one minute.

Programming

I use a diverse field of programming languages like Java, Angular, Javascript, C, C++, C#, HTML5, CSS, Python, Kotlin, PL/SQL and PHP. I have developed many different types of applications and websites. These include but are not limited to Android apps, business Angular applications, business Java applications and Video Games.

Design

I primarily use Photoshop for editing my photos. Sony Vegas and After Effects are my video editing softwares of choice. I design anything from logos to cutting full flashed movie with SFX. Often my design work is a part of other projects in the web and game development environment.
